[Es 1:1 DK-KJV] Nu skete det i Ahasuerus’ dage, (dette er den Ahasuerus som regerede, fra Indien lige til Etiopien, over 127 provinser:)	Es 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)
[Es 1:2 DK-KJV] At i de dage, da kongen Ahasuerus sad på tronen i sit kongerige, som var i Shushan-paladset, “Shushan er synonym med Susa”	Es 1:2 That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,
[Es 1:3 DK-KJV] I det tredje år af hans regering, lavede han en fest for alle sine prinser og sine tjenere; de mægtige fra Persien og Medien, de noble og prinserne fra de provinser, som var foran ham:	Es 1:3 In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:
[Es 1:4 DK-KJV] Da fremviste han rigdommene i sit herlige kongerige og herligheden ved hans fremragende majestæt i mange dage, ja i 180 dage.	Es 1:4 When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore days.
[Es 1:5 DK-KJV] Og da disse dage var afsluttet, lavede kongen en fest for alle de folk der var tilstede i Shushan-paladset, både for store og små, i 7 dage, i havens forgård til kongepaladset;	Es 1:5 And when these days were expired, the king made a feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both unto great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
[Es 1:6 DK-KJV] Der var hvide, grønne, og blå, gardiner, fæstnet med tråde af fint linned og violet til sølvringe og søjler af marmor: sengene var af guld og sølv, på en belægning af rødt, og blåt, og hvidt, og sort, marmor.	Es 1:6 Where were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white, and black, marble.
[Es 1:7 DK-KJV] Og de gav dem drinks i kar af guld, (karrene var forskellige det ene fra det andet,) og royal vin i overflod, efter kongens standard.	Es 1:7 And they gave them drink in vessels of gold, (the vessels being diverse one from another,) and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
[Es 1:8 DK-KJV] Og det at der blev drukket var ifølge loven; ingen overtalte nogen: for sådant havde kongen fastsat det overfor alle officerene i sit hus, at de skulle gøre efter enhvers lyst.	Es 1:8 And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure.
[Es 1:9 DK-KJV] Dronning Vashti lavede også en fest for kvinderne i det royale hus som tilhørte kong Ahasuerus.	Es 1:9 Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.
[Es 1:10 DK-KJV] På den 7’ne dag, da kongens hjerte var lystigt af vin, befalede han Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, og Abagtha, Zethar, og Carcas, de 7 kammerherrer der tjente i nærværet af kong Ahasuerus,	Es 1:10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
[Es 1:11 DK-KJV] Til at bringe dronning Vashti foran kongen med den royale krone, for at vise folket og prinserne hendes skønhed: for hun var køn at se på.	Es 1:11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
[Es 1:12 DK-KJV] Men dronningen afslog at komme ved kongens befaling fra hans kammerherrer: derfor var kongen meget vred, og hans vrede brændte i ham.	Es 1:12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
[Es 1:13 DK-KJV] Da sagde kongen til de vise mænd, som kendte tiderne, (for sådant var det kongens skik imod alle der kendte lov og dom:	Es 1:13 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
[Es 1:14 DK-KJV] Og de næste til ham var Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, og Memucan, de 7 prinser fra Persien og Medien, som så’ kongens ansigt, og som sad som de første i hans kongerige;)	Es 1:14 And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king’s face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)
[Es 1:15 DK-KJV] Hvad skal vi ifølge lov gøre med dronning Vashti, eftersom hun ikke har udført befalingen fra kongen Ahasuerus via kammerherrerne?	Es 1:15 What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
[Es 1:16 DK-KJV] Og Memucan svarede foran kongen og prinserne, dronning Vashti har ikke kun gjort forkert overfor kongen, men også overfor alle prinserne, og overfor hele folket der er i alle kong Ahasuerus’ provinser.	Es 1:16 And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.
[Es 1:17 DK-KJV] For denne handling fra dronningen skal komme alle kvinder for øre, sådant at de skal foragte deres ægtemænd i deres øjne, når dette skal bli’ rapporteret, Kong Ahasuerus befalede dronning Vashti til at bli’ bragt ind foran ham, men hun kom ikke.	Es 1:17 For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
[Es 1:18 DK-KJV] På samme måde skal Persien og Mediens damer denne dag sige til alle kongens prinser, som har hørt om dronningens handling. Således skal der rejse sig for meget foragt og arrigskab.	Es 1:18 Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
[Es 1:19 DK-KJV] Hvis det behager kongen, lad der fra ham udgå en royal befaling, og lad det bli’ skrevet blandt Perserne og Medernes love, så det ikke bli’r ændret, Så Vashti ikke længer kommer foran kong Ahasuerus; og lad kongen give hendes royale bolig til en anden der er bedre end hun.	Es 1:19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
[Es 1:20 DK-KJV] Og når kongens bekendtgørelse som han skal lave skal bli’ publiceret udover hele hans imperium, (for det er stort,) skal alle hustruerne give ære til deres ægtemænd, både for store og små.	Es 1:20 And when the king’s decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
[Es 1:21 DK-KJV] Og udtalelsen behagede kongen og prinserne; og kongen gjorde efter Memucans ord:	Es 1:21 And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
[Es 1:22 DK-KJV] For han sendte breve ud i alle kongens provinser, ud i enhver provins efter dens skrift, og til ethvert folk på deres eget sprog, at enhver mand skulle være herre over sit eget hus, og at det skulle publiceres efter hvert folks sprog.	Es 1:22 For he sent letters into all the king’s provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.
[Es 2:1 DK-KJV] Efter disse dage, da kong Ahasuerus arrigskab var aftaget, huskede han på Vashti, og hvad hun havde gjort, og hvad der var besluttet imod hende.	Es 2:1 After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
[Es 2:2 DK-KJV] Da sagde kongens tjenere der betjente for ham, Lad der bli’ søgt efter kønne unge jomfruer til kongen:	Es 2:2 Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:

Es 2:3 And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them:
[Es 2:4 DK-KJV] Og lad den pige som behager kongen bli’ dronning i stedet for Vashti. Og de ting behagede kongen, og han gjorde sådant.	Es 2:4 And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
[Es 2:5 DK-KJV] Nu var der i Shushan-paladset en bestemt Jøde, hvis havn var Mordecai, Jairs søn, Shimeis søn, Kishs søn, en Benjamit;	Es 2:5 Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
[Es 2:6 DK-KJV] Som var blevet ført bort fra Jerusalem med de tilfangetagne som havde blevet ført bort med Jeconiah konge af Judah, som Nebuchadnezzar Babylons konge havde ført bort.	Es 2:6 Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
[Es 2:7 DK-KJV] Og han opfostrede Hadassah, der er, Ester, hans onkels datter: for hun havde hverken far eller mor, og den pige var køn og smuk; som Mordecai, da hendes far og mor var døde, tog til sig som hans egen datter.	Es 2:7 And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
[Es 2:8 DK-KJV] Sådant skete det, da kongens befaling og hans bekendtgørelse var hørt, og da mange piger var forsamlet i Shushan-paladset, hos Hagais kustode, at Ester også var bragt til kongens hus, til Hagais kustode, kvindernes vogter.	Es 2:8 So it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
[Es 2:9 DK-KJV] Og pigen behagede ham, og hun modtog hans godhed; og han gav hende hurtigt hendes ting for rensning, med sådanne ting som tilhørte hende, og 7 piger, som var egnet til at bli’ givet til hende, ud af kongens hus: og han tildelte hende og hendes piger det bedste sted i kvindernes hus.	Es 2:9 And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
[Es 2:10 DK-KJV] Ester havde ikke fremvist hendes folk ej heller hendes folkeslag: for Mordecai havde pålagt hende at hun ikke skulle vise det.	Es 2:10 Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
[Es 2:11 DK-KJV] Og Mordecai vandrede hver dag foran forgården til kvindernes hus, for at vide hvordan det gik med Ester. og hvad der skulle ske med hende.	Es 2:11 And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
[Es 2:12 DK-KJV] Nu da det var blevet enhver piges tur til at gå ind til kong Ahasuerus, efter hun havde været der 12 måneder, ifølge kvindernes måde, (for sådant var dagene af deres rensninger fuldbragt, til at bevidne, 6 måneder med olie af myrra, og 6 måneder med søde dufte, og med andre ting for kvindernes rensning:)	Es 2:12 Now when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)
[Es 2:13 DK-KJV] På den måde kom enhver pige til kongen; hvadsomhelst hun ønskede sig var givet hende til at gå med hende ud af kvindernes hus indtil kongens hus.	Es 2:13 Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king’s house.
[Es 2:14 DK-KJV] Om aftenen gik hun, og om morgenen returnerede hun ind i kvindernes andet hus, til Shaashgazs kustode, kongens kammerherre, som vogtede konkubinerne: hun kom ikke længere ind til kongen, på nær hvis kongen frydede sig over hende, og at hun var indkaldt ved navn.	Es 2:14 In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king’s chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.
[Es 2:15 DK-KJV] Nu da det var blevet Esters tur, Abihails datter Mordecais onkel, som havde taget hende til sig som hans datter, for at gå ind til kongen, ønskede hun sig intet foruden hvad Hegai kongens kammerherre, kvindernes vogter, udvalgte. Og Ester modtog favør foran alles øjne dem der kiggede på hende.	Es 2:15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
[Es 2:16 DK-KJV] Sådant var Ester taget til kong Ahasuerus ind i hans royale hus i den 10’ne måned, som er måneden Tebeth, i det 7’ne år af hans regering.	Es 2:16 So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
[Es 2:17 DK-KJV] Og kongen elskede Ester over alle kvinderne, og hun modtog i hans øjne nåde og favør mere end alle jomfruerne; sådant at han satte hans royale krone på hendes hoved, og gjorde hende til dronning i stedet for Vashti.	Es 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
[Es 2:18 DK-KJV] Så lavede kongen en stor fest for alle hans prinser og hans tjenere, ja Esters fest; og han lavede en frigivelse til provinserne, og gav gaver, efter kongens standard.	Es 2:18 Then the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther’s feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the state of the king.
[Es 2:19 DK-KJV] Og da jomfruerne for anden gang var forsamlet, da Mordecai sad i kongeporten.	Es 2:19 And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, then Mordecai sat in the king’s gate.
[Es 2:20 DK-KJV] Havde Ester endnu ikke vist hendes folkeslag heller ikke hendes folk; som Mordecai havde pålagt hende: for Ester fulgte Mordecais befaling, ligesom da hun var opfostret hos ham.	Es 2:20 Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.

Es 2:21 In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king’s gate, two of the king’s chamberlains, Bigthan and Teresh, of those which kept the door, were wroth, and sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
[Es 2:22 DK-KJV] Og de ting var kundgjort for Mordecai, som fortalte det til Ester dronningen: og Ester bekendtgjorde det for kongen i Mordecais navn.	Es 2:22 And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.

Es 3:2 And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.
[Es 3:3 DK-KJV] Da sagde kongens tjenere, som var i kongens port til Mordecai, Hvorfor adlyder du kongens befaling?	Es 3:3 Then the king’s servants, which were in the king’s gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king’s commandment?
[Es 3:4 DK-KJV] Nu skete det, da de dagligt talte til ham, og han ikke lyttede til dem, at de fortalte det til Haman, for at se hvorvidt Mordecais sager ville stå: for han havde fortalt dem at han var en Jøde.	Es 3:4 Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
[Es 3:5 DK-KJV] Og da Haman så’ at Mordecai ikke bukkede, heller ikke udviste ærbødighed overfor ham, da var Haman fuld af arrigskab.	Es 3:5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
[Es 3:6 DK-KJV] Og han tænkte at det var en hån kun at lægge hænder på Mordecai; for de havde vist ham Mordecais folk: derfor søgte Haman at destruere alle Jøderne der var udover hele Ahasuerus’ kongerige, ja Mordecais folk.	Es 3:6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
[Es 3:7 DK-KJV] I den første måned, det er Nisan, i kong Ahasuerus 12’te år, kastede de Pur, det er, loddet, foran Haman fra dag til dag, og fra måned til måned, til den 12’te måned, det er, måneden Adar.	Es 3:7 In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
[Es 3:8 DK-KJV] Og Haman sagde til kong Ahasuerus, Der er et bestemt folk der er spredt bredt og adskilt blandt folket i alle provinserne af dit kongerige; og deres love er forskellige fra alle folk; de holder heller ikke kongens love: derfor er det ikke godt at kongen udholder dem.	Es 3:8 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.
[Es 3:9 DK-KJV] Hvis det behager kongen, lad der bli’ skrevet at de må bli’ destrueret: og jeg vil betale 10.000 sølv-talenter til hænderne at de som tager sig af den forretning, for at bringe det ind i kongens skattekammer.	Es 3:9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.
[Es 3:10 DK-KJV] Og kongen tog hans ring fra hans hånd, og gav den til Haman Agagiten Hammedathas søn, Jødernes fjende.	Es 3:10 And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.
[Es 3:11 DK-KJV] Og kongen sagde til Haman, Sølvet er givet til dig, folket også, til at gøre med dem som det ser godt ud for dig.	Es 3:11 And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.

Es 3:12 Then were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring.
[Es 3:13 DK-KJV] Og brevene var sendt med post ud i alle kongens provinser, for at destruere, for at dræbe, og for at få alle Jøder til at omkomme, alle Jøder, både unge og gamle, små børn og kvinder, på 1 dag, ja på den 13’ne dag af den 12’te måned, som er måneden Adar, og for at ta’ rovet fra dem som et bytte.	Es 3:13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
[Es 3:14 DK-KJV] En kopi af skriften var lavet som en befaling til at bli’ givet i enhver provins til alle folk, så de skulle være klar imod den dag.	Es 3:14 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, that they should be ready against that day.

[Es 4:1 DK-KJV] Da Mordecai fandt ud af alt hvad der var gjort, rev Mordecai hans tøj itu, og iklædte sig sækkelærred med aske, og gik indtil byens midte, og råbte med et højt bittert råb;	Es 4:1 When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;
[Es 4:2 DK-KJV] Og kom endda foran kongens port: for ingen måtte gå ind ad kongens port iklædt sækkelærred.	Es 4:2 And came even before the king’s gate: for none might enter into the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth.

Es 4:3 And in every province, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
[Es 4:4 DK-KJV] Sådant kom Esters piger og hendes kammerherrer og fortalte hende det. Es 8:14 So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king’s commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.

Es 8:17 And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
[Es 9:1 DK-KJV] Nu i den 12’te måned, det er, måneden Adar, på den 13’ne dag af den samme, da kongens befaling og hans bekendtgørelse nærmede sig for at bli’ udført, på dagen hvor Jødernes fjender håbede på at ha’ myndighed over dem, (skønt det var vendt til det modsatte, at Jøderne havde lederskab over dem der hadede dem;)	Es 9:1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
[Es 9:2 DK-KJV] Jøderne forsamlede demselv i deres byer udover alle Kong Ahasuerus’ provinser, for at lægge hånd på sådanne som søgte at skade dem: og intet menneske kunne modstå dem; for frygten for dem faldt på alle folk.	Es 9:2 The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.
[Es 9:3 DK-KJV] Og alle provinsernes leder, og løjtnanterne, og kaptajnerne, og de fuldmægtige for kongen, hjalp Jøderne; fordi Mordecais frygt faldt på dem.	Es 9:3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.
[Es 9:4 DK-KJV] For Mordecai var stor i kongens hus, og hans berømmelse gik ud over alle provinserne: for denne mand Mordecai voksede større og større.	Es 9:4 For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.

Es 9:5 Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.

[Es 9:10 DK-KJV] De 10 sønner af Haman sønnen af Hammedatha, Jødernes fjende, dræbte de; men lagde de ikke deres hånd på byttet.	Es 9:10 The ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand.

[Es 9:13 DK-KJV] Da sagde Ester, Hvis det behager kongen, lad det også i morgen bli’ givet til Jøderne at gøre ifølge denne dags bekendtgørelse, og lad Hamans 10 sønner bli’ hængt på galgerne. Es 9:28 And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed.
